Forgiveness and harmony

Gist. Peace and harmony: forgive, reconcile, do not take revenge.

Conditions and exceptions. Forgiveness does not cancel justice: what was stolen should be returned.

Examples.

• The Prodigal Son (Lk 15:11–32): the father forgives the son who came back.
• Two goats on a bridge (folk fable): both stood their ground and both fell; giving way is wiser.
