sense in the lessons

In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: In the Torah it can mean led astray, as when people are drawn away to worship other gods, or having a sword pulled out of its sheath. In the Prophets it also means pulled or taken away, as babies drawn from the breast, a body dragged out, or people "drawn unto death." Interpretation: Being drawn to other gods is the great sin the Torah warns against, and a false prophet or town that leads people astray is treated very severely. Proverbs is read as a command to rescue people led to death. In the primary lessons: pictures or shapes drawn; things drawn out of a bag; in maths: shapes drawn with a ruler, graphs drawn to show data, cards drawn in probability; in sport: a drawn match (a tie); in stories: a coach drawn by horses; phrases: «drawn to» (attracted to), «drawn out» (too long)
