part of speech

noun (pronunciation, pronunciations)

meaning for a pupil

1) Pronunciation is the way a word is said out loud. tree →

2) Pronunciation is also how well or how a person says words in a language, including their accent. tree →

sense in the lessons

Interpretation: Sefer Yetzirah says seven letters have two sounds. Readers saw this doubling as standing for pairs of opposites, such as wisdom and folly, wealth and poverty, and life and death. In the primary lessons: In English and language lessons, dictionaries show pronunciation; French, Mandarin and Ukrainian lessons practise pronunciation. English spelling does not always match pronunciation (through, though, tough). People in the UK, USA and Australia have different pronunciations of the same words (tomato).
