sense in the lessons
In the Tanakh and Jewish tradition: "Do not wrong" means do not cheat or oppress, especially a stranger or a neighbour in trade. As a noun it means an injustice done to someone, which the afflicted can bring before God. The prophets blame those who wronged the poor and needy. Interpretation: The rabbis read this as a ban on hurting people with words as well as in buying and selling, and say that one must not mislead a buyer or hurt a stranger's feelings. The fear of God is named as the reason. Lamentations' cry "judge my cause" is read as trust that God defends the wronged. In the primary lessons: In maths: marks an answer, a guess or a count that is not correct; questions answered wrong on a test; right = total − wrong. In school: find the mistake, correct the wrong answer. In life: knowing right from wrong. Phrases: go wrong, get it wrong, the wrong way, what is wrong, right or wrong, wrong number.
