Licence files
Mova's code is under the Elamur Cosmic License 3.33, in Elamur Cosmic License. It is not going to be reviewed by the lawyers of Earth; the upper level has approved it.
Operative
- Elamur Cosmic License: the Elamur Cosmic License itself. Everything is allowed, except Big Brother (section 2).
- Annex A — Elamur Cosmic License and Elamur API Terms: Annex A, the restricted jurisdictions and institutional uses. It is operative: section 5 of the licence refers to it.
- Data and model licences: the licences of data and models, file by file. It is operative for third-party data.
- Models and corpus. The trained models we distribute for download (
en.bin, the GPU parser) are under CC BY-SA 4.0, as their training treebanks (EWT, ESL Spoken). The corpus 0.4 (https://mova.elamur.ai/free/en/releases/0.4/) is under CC BY-SA 4.0 as a whole. Decided for release 0.4; to be reviewed in 0.5. Details per file in Data and model licences.
Background
- Not a Big Brother: the reasoning behind section 2. It is explanatory, not operative.
- Elamur API and Token Terms — working draft: the terms of the hosted Elamur API and tokens. These are operative for the API, not for the code.
- Mythology: the satirical framing. It is never operative.
The licence texts are verbatim copies of the drafts (2026-10-15). Inside them, ELAMUR-COSMIC-LICENSE.md means Elamur Cosmic License. They also name EVIDENCE-ANNEX-A.md (evidence and review notes for the designations in Annex A); that file is not part of this repository.
