In the Prophets and Writings it is also said of a kingdom, of the earth's ends and of God's throne. Interpretation: The covenant with Noah, marked by the rainbow, is read as God's lasting promise never to destroy the world by flood again. The psalm saying God's throne is established of old is read as praise of God as king for ever. In the primary lessons: Used in history and social studies: "the town was established by settlers".
